About Tambah Foundation
This Foundation was created in honor of my mom “Mary Kumbah Morlu Tambah” as her life legacy.
Tambah Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes as specified in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
All funds Tambah Foundation shall be open to receiving donations (volunteer services, cash & kind that support our purpose). The proceeds and services shall be used to support and make a difference in the lives of needy immigrants within the communities and college & university campuses of Minnesota. Whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift or contribution or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes.
The purpose of TAMBAH FOUNDATION is:
Locally:
To mentor youth and new immigrants to achieve the "American Dream" by sharing my principles and experiences that helped me successfully resettle in the United States.
To help alleviate reliance on government programs (Welfare, etc.) through education.
To help immigrants with carpool transport through our volunteer network, enabling them to navigate their way within the local communities.
To help new immigrants with job applications and job search programs that will enable them to get a job. Help contact employers for employment on behalf of immigrants who are new to the United States.
To help educate new immigrants on how to build their credit scores and renter history.
To help provide financial education and management services.
To help with college and university campus visits and enrollment processes.
To help with immigration legal and social services referrals.
To help immigrants understand the pathway to U.S. Citizenship through educational classes.
To help youth learn about technical skills and the importance of having a technical today.

Host annual award ceremony promoting the culture of honor and services to communities.
Internationally / Globally:
To fund the needs of less fortunate and unprivileged women, children, youth in Liberia, Africa, and other parts of the world.
Partner with existing organizations, communities, and nations to support the different initiatives that will help less fortunate and unprivileged women, children, youth in Liberia, Africa, and other parts of the world.
